| Date | What to do |
|---|---|
| 2026-12-03 | Read the ISO record for the close of the second DIS ballot and the decision. It is the next public checkpoint, and the date is our arithmetic from the twelve week ballot, not an ISO date. |
| 2027-01-15 | Finish the gap assessment: map every measure you report to a clause 6 family, list the unmapped ones, and decide how the four model subcharacteristics without a family will be measured. |
| 2027-03-31 | Rebuild the measure index on the nine characteristics of the 2023 model, with the population and the measurement function written for every row. |
| 2027-06-30 | Collect the evidence for the families you report, and dry run the evidence pack against one product so the gaps are visible before the standard lands. |
| 2027-09-16 | The planning date. Read the published edition against this record, correct the measure index where the text differs, and update the target values. |
| 2028-03-31 | First review after publication: check the evidence pack against the published clauses and the annexes, and retire any measure the published text does not support. |
The 2027-09-16 row is the planning date, an estimate from the stage. The 2026-12-03 row is our arithmetic from the twelve week ballot, not an ISO date. The rest are actions we recommend, not obligations in the draft.
What could move the plan
- A third DIS ballot. The first ballot ended in a decision for a new ballot, so a second decision is possible. It would add about six months.
- An FDIS ballot. If the draft is approved for registration as an FDIS, the approval stage adds eight weeks before publication.
- A published text that differs from the draft. The record says which parts are public; the published clauses and annexes are the authority, and the plan includes a reading task for the day they land.
What not to wait for
The model, the characteristics and the measure families are public now. A team can re-index its measure library, write the population and the measurement function for each row, and decide how to handle the four subcharacteristics without a family, without waiting for the wording. That work is the same before and after publication; only the annex guidance and any measure detail will change.
The rules this is built from
Read from the real rules, not invented.
Every line points to the public ISO record or the free preview it came from, so you can check it yourself.
- Read from the real rules

- 116 public headings checked

The measure set is read from the public contents; the model table is read from the public 25010:2023 model. Where the draft text is not public, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
